If the card you are sending is for a religious couple or what will be a religious wedding, then including a religious wedding message would be appropriate. Religious wedding wishes or messages are likely to mention God or can even quote scripture and prayers. Make sure before writing your message that you know the religion of the couple, assuming they are both of the same religion, and also how strongly held their beliefs are. If they aren’t practicing or don’t worship frequently then you may want to reconsider a religious message.
Remember, if you’re unsure or worried about causing any offense then the best idea would be to choose a more general wedding message that can still represent your feelings but without making the happy couple uncomfortable.
Remember to forgive each other just as God has forgiven you and you will hold the humility that it takes to love each other with grace.
Remember the promises you made today and keep God the center of your relationship
